The Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Barcelona is what dreams are made of.  Designed by Patricia Urquiola for the specific purpose of stealing my soul, the swanky digs had me at gold lobby:

I have the sneaking suspicion that the hubs and I aren’t going to be traveling to Spain anytime soon, so if one of you has the luxury of going I pretty please have some cocktails on this balcony for me.

The fretwork reminds me of your stencil wall. You must add it to your “I must go there someday list”. I’d like to come too.

Oh my god, I want to take up residence there. I want it an indecent amount. Love Barcelona, love the gold, love the rooftop.

That place is the SIIIIIICCCCCCCCCCCCCness. Except I feel the green pool area to be a bit creepy. I think id rather play records than swim there. Dont get me wrong, i love creepiness, but moreso when it comes to accessorizing with weird antiquities. But I digress… um how much is it a night? Wait, I dont want to know… its too depressing.
