That’s right, my thoroughbred friends — we’ve got an equestrian themed GIVEAWAY in honor of Karly’s sold out edition of Horsey prints! This one comes courtesy of the fine folks at CSN Stores, who sell everything from bathroom vanities to Knoll and Kartell housewares through their mammoth collection of 200+ stores. I’m sure you can imagine that sifting through 489,654 items before selecting La Horsey was quite the sweaty herculean task, but it’s ok. Don’t worry about me. Everything I do, I do it for you.
Now that I’ve drummed up an appropriate amount of sympathy and lodged a ridiculous Bryan Adams tune in your collective head, let’s move on to the good stuff!

Just look at those sweet baleful eyes… who wouldn’t want to give this little guy (or gal) a good home?
Measuring a substantial 22 x 22 inches square, our equine friend is hand screened with java colored ink onto jute, finished with leather piping, and stuffed silly — because no one wants a skinny pony. Our lucky winner can display him (or her) whether they be old money or poorgeoisie — this pillow has legs. Somewhere.
The Brass Tacks: Enter to win this FREE Thomas Paul pillow, valued at $80, by naming the horsey in the comment box below. That’s right — all you have to do is NAME THIS HORSEY to win a FREE Thomas Paul pillow. You have until Sunday, May 30, at 12 noon CST, to leave your comment below. A random number generator will choose the winner, who will be announced on Memorial Day, Monday the 31st. Sorry, due to shipping constraints, this contest is only open to US and Canadian residents. Please enter only once, but feel free to tell your friends and neighbors, announce this contest on facebook, and tweetaleet all about this bizness. We’re looking forward to some excellent names, the best of which will be announced along with the winner, because bragging rights are almost as good as a free pillow right? Right?
Now saddle up and get cracking. Yee haw!

Don’t racehorses have unusually long and fantastical names?
How ’bout “Ecumenical Equine Ecstasy”? His jockey calls him “Easy E.”
Bob. How’s that for creativity. I have none. Nor have I had my morning coffee fix as of yet. Plus, my brain cells are severely decreased after birthing three kidlings. Do you feel sorry for me yet? Good. Now send that damn fine pillow my way.
A horsey pillow to match my horse print made of horses? How perfect!
I would probably name him Tom, after Thomas Paul.
How about Bonnie? That was the name of my uncle’s horse I grew up riding. Ah, memories!
Chim Chim, that is the big name going around our house now by our four year old and I think that it would be a perfect name for this lovely horse.
Obviously, the horse’s name is Sadie.
Ramone J. Lombardi
buckle boy
I look and all I can think is “Fit to be Tied” – nickname: Tiedy
Surely it has to be “Pillow Talk” and it’s training name is Hudson or Doris (not sure if it’s a boy or a girl)
Under my care, this pretty pony would go by the name Pixel.
P.S. “Easy E.”–that’s pretty terrific.
he looks like a duke to me, that’s just what came to my mind-that’s it!
I’d call him Jute. The “Throw”-bred stallion.
That horse should be named “Prickly Pete”. after George Costanza’s imaginary horse on Seinfeld. Plus, it seems like an appropriate old timey name for a horse.
“Gamut” is the name.
“Silly Perkins.” First thing that came to mind – no kidding.
Gluestick
Hoofie (short for Herr Hoofie).
I will name her Audrey Hepburn. Look at that pixie cut and those eyes. She looks like the star of “Roman Holiday”.
Percival J. Teddington
I name her “Olive”
Those are Bette Davis eyes….
Pickles the Wonder Horse!
Turnip Head.
his name would be woody and he’d be a pal o mine o. (har har)
Moonshine Maverick
clearly, that’s Ethel
When I looked at that lovely horse all I could think about was Betty Draper riding on “Mad Men.” So I’m going to go with “Draper” for the name. And to make it longer and more Kentucky Derby sounding how about “Draper Dan” (a play on “Dapper Dan”).
Sarah Jessica Parker
Madam Hortense Foster, of course.
her name is virginia: where she belongs.
@ dennis olson “gluestick”
Ouch/gross/:(
Tallulah. I always wanted a daughter to name Tallulah and since that ain’t never going to happen, that’s what I name everything.
Neigh Neigh, from the Real Horsewives of Atlanta
Jabulani. It’s not a horsey pun, I’m just exited for the world cup.
Her name is sweet-biscuits
Her neigh is as sweet as a siren song… Her horse knickers sound like louboutins on marble. Those sassy bangs are perfectly tousled.
She’s a classy equine who would fit well in our stable.
Herculez. A good name for a horse, as well as a good name for Herculez Gomez, recently named to the US World Cup team.
Onward, Herculez, you brave and plush fellow!
I would name this wee pony Precious
I would have to say Morfar Prince, which was the name of my favorite horse at summer camp. I wish I could still go to summer camp.
Those bangs scream gal. And, it’s clear bangs are still “in”.
She’s being coy, but her name is “Bangin’ Baby”
Les Paul or captain delicious
That horse is definitely a “Dolly” and I NEED her.
Mr. Fred!
My boy could not say horse when he was a kiddo. He called all horses “art”. The horses name has got to be Art.
