Happy Friday, blog buddies! It’s been a long week in Erinland, but I can’t possibly let you face the weekend without dosing you with some eye candy from French illustrator Julien Pacaud. Seriously, I don’t know what this dude is on, but I want some.

“Before becoming an illustrator, i was, by turns : an astrophysician, an international snooker champion, a hypnotist and an esperanto teacher. I hope i can someday have enough free time to devote myself to my real passion : time travel.”

Well, that explains a lot, so keep it in mind when viewing his amazing work.

I’m not sure how he can see into my head at night, but I think I may deserve royalties from the sale of my dreams.

Check out these and other images from his incredibly prolific portfolio at julienpacaud.com.

See you Monday!

Wow — those are hilarious. I love collages. I really appreciate the stuff you guys share on your blog — so much more fun than a debate over whether decorating with feathers will bring ear mites onto one’s dinner table.

Have no idea how big they are, Susie… can you imagine them wall sized? Awesome!

  8. Cassie says:

I bought it at L’Affiche Moderne. Unfortunately, they seem to be sold out.

Thanks for the inspiration today! They are really great! I have been in a design rut lately, so that’s like a creative B12 shot! (and hey! Charley Harper is not boring! ;) I have the screen print of a toad eating a frog- hardly banal!)

ugh, they are SOOOOOOOO good. I’m still trying to figure out how he does them

They’ve gotta be digital. Or digital output to giclee and then overworked with paint. Karly, I thought they looked like your work. Definitely your sense of composition.
