Since it is day 2 of my horsey round up, I thought it would be appropriate to start with this image of 2 beauties sent to me by, well, honestly, i’m not sure who it was sent to me by. I think I might be going insane. I pulled this link on my b-day when you were all being so loving and kind, but now I’ve poured through my emails and comments and can’t find who sent it or where it is from. I must look like the worst gift receiver in the United States of America. Rest assured, I am. I am terrible. Will someone step forward and please claim this link? I love the pic and am forever in-debt to you.

This to-die-for wallpaper was sent to me by TWO readers (oh how you know me well), both Gracie and Stephanie know a fantastic wall when they see one.
Raina Bear pointed me to this fine fine image on NKP’s blog. I have since suffered from insomnia caused by spending too much time at night trying to figure out how to make my very own. Any suggestions?

and finally, I think these photos sent by Gracie best depict how i felt on my big 3-1: Happy as a pink horse with a mouthful of carrots. Thank you so much, everyone, for playing along with my silly reindeer games. I felt nothing but love on the big-ish day

The resolution issue seems like a topic best handled by Erin.
I had an old photo blown up to 24″ x 36″ and loved the pixelated nature of it.

Grainy resolution can rule the school in the right occasion, but it’s usually a happy accident. After looking at graphics all day long, i’m pretty picky about clear pix.
No worries at all, k-dawg! Seriously, between this post and Tuesdays, I triple dog dare someone to come up with a better horse round-up. This shit is bananas. We rock more than Winger!
With all due respect to my beloved Karly and her equine obsession, nothing and no one rocks harder than Kip Winger.
Obviously, no better horse round up exists. Period. The superfriends of the blogosphere have united in a common cause, and the result is an epic success.
Oh, and blowing up a pic that big does present a conundrum. I believe the solution would be to kidnap a pony or two and take our own high res pictures. That’s practical, right?

Dang, there’s some good stuff here, horse lover or not! That wallpaper is killing me with it’s fabulousness…she should totally put it in to production. And the bedroom, with the yellow phone and the gorgeous horsey portrait, sigh…talk about sweet dreams.
p.s.- I had some thoughts in response to a comment regarding how to “make” that screen…I’m no DIYer by a long shot, but take a look back at the post if you have a chance and tell me what you think.

It sounds promising, although I’ve never used them. They can make really large images and offer multiple options such as vinyls and canvases.
