I know, I know, you all are sick of Christmas stuff all over the entire world wide web and you were really hoping that your cynical friends over at Design Crisis would rise above it. Sorry. Not only am I bringing you an under $25 round-up, we’re going to be Holiday-Guiding it up all week long. Recession woes got you down? Today’s your day. Save up a few grand for the holidays? Check back mid-week. Living off inherited cash from Daddy’s oil well? Stop back by on Friday.
Unfortunately, I fall into the first category. Plus, I subscribe to the one for them / one for me school of holiday shopping, so I have to keep the numbers down. Let’s round this up already, shall we?

You know…I’m actually not sick of all the Christmas stuff. Keeps me motivated to get my act together! Plus it’s nice to see all the options out there – thanks!
Thanks, P. Sir, I was a little worried about overkill
That ice sculpture kit is AMAZING. And I may be needing the raised by wolves onesie… for myself, of course.
And not an owl in the mix! Bless you.
What’s with felting? I don’t get it and am afraid I missed some sort of crafting/home decor memo. The felt pebbles especially. ???
I want the knife wall hook.
I think it will make me look all tough and scary -ooh I could have on my office wall and when clients get antsy I can just give an icey glance over to the wall hook & watch em quickly agree with me!
Camilla, I think that’s the best repurposing of a wall hook. ever.
And Raina, I don’t know, people love felting. I don’t mind it, sometimes. But felted “pebbles” are never ok. It’s like, someone wanted to felt something, anything, but didn’t have any good ideas so they made a blob and called it a pebble.
Erin, should we go in on the swan? I have a party to throw this spring that will need that sort of thing. Oh, the party is for you.
In that case, I’ll spring for the swan and you can use it to make a jello shot mold for the party.
Deal?
Also, the felted pebbles are killing me! Why, pray tell, are they so expensive? Is there really that much labor involved with “constructing” a felt ball?
On the other felted hand, 800 million years ago I did post about a felt boombox that is mighty alrighty with me.
Sarah and I engaged in a failed attempt to make a jello shot mold years ago. we ended up with a runny blob of liquored down gelatin in a bucket. I see a sad sad swan in our future.
That story is making me cry… I don’t want to be responsible for a tale of misused booze. I hereby declare that ice swan shall have his own magical, unadulterated by alcohol, day.
Great finds, loving that knife hook! You guys crack me up. :0)
